I have a 32 inch wide single fin, I would like to make a quad. How did you work out your placements, and what would you recommend. My board is 9' x 32". Thank you

Using masking tape, recreate the shapers marks for your front fins. The shapers dots spaced at 4.5" that are placed on the blank when it goes to glassing.

Once you know your front fin placement you can project the toe angles up to the nose and get the distance off the centerline they used.

Now you have what you need to project from the nose and set your rear fin toe angle.

My rear fins are 8" behind the fronts. That dimensions was taken from the Sub Vector.

My cant angle is 2 degrees less than whatever I measure on the front fins.

Distance off the rail can be anything from equal to the front to several inches more inward. In for drive, out for loose.

Oops, didn't notice you said single fin. You're screwed. I have no advice for front fin placement. That seems to be an art on these monster wide boards.
