My advice would be to buy a SUP with an insert for a mast. Then search for a close-out deal on a complete rig package (rig=sail, mast, boom, foot, base)
The death of windsurfing over the last 20 years is because longboards died. Without a longboard, it is almost impossible to learn how to windsurf. SUPs with mast inserts have made learning to windsurf a possibility again.
