It's been sunny every day. It's gloomy along the beaches at sunrise.
I've found, typically, the more fog in the mornings the better it is. Probably means the winds down. In the winter the gloom may stay around till 1pm, clear up and then come back several hours later as the temp falls. That's "sunny Califiornia".
