It's That Time Again
The foam for downwind boards number 7 and 8. This foam came from Craft Hardware in Wrightsville Beach. They stock 1 lb EPS for contractors building docks. It's not ideal because it comes 23 1/2 wide, but it's cheaper due to no shipping cost on my part. Shipping doubles the cost of EPS.

I'd like to see the progress shots for this project. I never saw anyone shape EPS before - it's so crumbly. Our season in the Great Lakes is pretty much over, so I'll be watching.
It shapes up easier than you would think, after you learn what NOT to do!
The first time you shape one, you accidentally take a few chunks out.
