Deceiver Paddle Bag

This paddle bag will fly on any airline, FREE. The secret lies in the Bass Pro Shops patch sewn on the bag. Fishing rods fly FREE on any airline. Surfing gear cost an arm and a leg to fly with.

When asked at check-in "what's in the bag", say fishing rods. It should go hassle free.

In case you're wondering, yes they do make and sell fishing rod cases as long as our paddles. I almost found a real fishing rod hard case to do the job, but width was just a little shy for the blade.

How do I get it? I made it myself. I learned to sew repairing kites.

My next surf trip I'm taking my paddle and renting a board.

Round Two

After eating lunch at home and seeing how small the surf was here, we just could not resist making the 40 mile drive back to Topsail for round two. These photos are a few taken from ONE ride. Long rides and wonderful surf all day.

Jacky's Handle with New Padding

Protection has arrived. The next time the paddle tries to smash her in the face, it should hurt a little less. My old windsurf boom gripping skills came in handy for this job.
