The first 8'5 has a single to double concave bottom. I've done a 7'8 in a single to double concave bottom too. Flat bottoms feels better, so I'm doing another with a flat bottom. The flat bottoms get up and go instantly. They paddle faster too. The single to double lags until the speed breaks the threshold where the concaves start working. They just don't feel as good on a SUP. I'll leave them to prone boards.
