Naish Fanboy Finds 2012 Photos

Robby with new graphics. Color on rails reversed from 2011 scheme. New deck pad look. Black nose on all 2012s

Kai Lenny

Robby. Looks like 8'5 Hokua to me

It looks like Kai replaced his tail pad

Race boards, all with black nose cone. Could the nose be carbon reinforced to make it ding proof?

New bottom design on the windsurf boards. Photo from the distributors meeting on Maui.

Carbon nose, or just black paint to make ding repair paint matching easy? Carbon rail or just paint?

Carbon rails, or just black paint? Less wood decking?

Scary Stuff

Naish surfer Vetea Poto David. Naish lists his quiver as 8'5 and 7'8 Hokua. Wonder if that's the 8'5 way up there?

Drift Surfing

The wind has been relentless, so we went back to something we did a lot when we were newbies. Drive 3 miles upwind, launch, then relax, drift, and surf!

Back then, a 3 mile surf session would kick our butts. Today it was awesome fun. These new short SUPs make this wind blown shore break so much more fun. Our balance in the wild and wooly seas was easy-peeze. Wind at your back sure makes you stable! We could actually do something with those crap waves on these boards.
